This blog is dedicated to America, and its obsession with smoked meat.

It started out as Bacon And Boomsticks, as an homage to barbecued pork in particular, to show the Islamic terrorists who attacked this nation on September 11, 2001, that we were, indeed, better than they could ever be.

Now, it’s pretty much devoted to good food, barbecue mostly – how to make it, where to eat it.
